So, it's been about a year (literally) since I've last visited this space. Unfortunately, not a whole lot has changed! I'm still hating my job, to the point that I visit the job bank website every day to see if anything adequate has been posted (nothing yet). I had a job interview last week, but found out on Friday that even though I was short-listed, I did not get the job. Luckily, I found this out on my lunch break, so I was able to call my dad crying and then compose myself before having to go back and pretend that I was ok with it. They are holding my resume for consideration for another position that will be opening in 2-3 months, so maybe I just have to wait it out a little longer....
One of the things that I have done this summer was Dragon Boat. It was an amazing experience as I was the captain of our team (despite having no prior experience), and even though we were kind of disastrous at first, we ended up placing second in our division and we had the tenth fastest time over the entire festival (of 32 teams! Fuck ya!).
Currently, I'm taking a relaxing weekend to myself to stew over the not getting of the new job, then I will work for 4 days before going on holidays!! I'm heading back home to meet up with my best friend and relax and not think about work and eat copious amounts of sushi. I am pumped.
Anyways, I hope to actually make some interesting posts as things arise. I tend to forget about this place though, and usually forget my password, so I can't make any guarantees *shrugs*
